Can I use this product if I am a vegan?
The ingredients are not derived from or tested on animals.
Can I have this treatment if I’m pregnant or nursing?
This treatment has not been studied on pregnant or nursing women, so it is not recommended.
Can I receive the treatment and/or use the spray if I have bonded, or tape - in, extensions?
Yes, the HydraFacial Keravive treatment and take–home spray can be used on clients with bonded or taped–in hair extensions. When advising clients on take–home spray use, instruct clients to spray directly on the scalp and not on the hair or extensions.
Can I receive the treatment and/or use the spray if I have color – treated hair?
Clients with color–treated hair can receive the HydraFacial Keravive treatment and use the take–home spray without affecting the color and dyes
What results may be expected? How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
Can I have this treatment if I have seborrheic dermatitis?
The treatment is safe for clients with seborrheic dermatitis and clients may find that the HydraFacialKeravive scalp treatment will helpminimize scalp flaking.
Can I have this treatment if I have previously been diagnosed with skin cancer on my scalp?
It is best to consult your physician before starting a HydraFacial Keravive treatment if you have been previously diagnosed with skin cancer or pre-cancerous skin lesions on your scalp. This treatment has not been studied in clients who have been diagnosed with, or recovered from, skin cancer on the scalp
Does this treatment interact with any topical medications such b as Minoxidil (commonl y known as Rogaine) or any natural oils or topical treatments?
There are no known interactions with any topical medications or non–medical topical treatments. TheHydraFacial Keravivetreatment should improve scalp health and help facilitate the delivery of such topicals. If using the HydraFacial Keravive take-home spray with other topical medications or treatments, client should first use the HydraFacial Keravive spray, then follow with the other topicalproduct. Can I have this in conjunction with PRP? If so, what is the recommended regimen?
For best results, it is not recommended to administer HydraFacial Keravive and PRP treatments in the same visit. The recommended regimen is to alternate HydraFacial Keravive and PRP treatments and to allow 2–4 weeks in between treatments.
Can I have this in conjunction with Laser Therapy? If so, what is the recommended regimen?
At-home Laser Therapy can be used in conjunction with the HydraFacial Keravive take-home spray. If combining, spray and massage the scalp before using the device
Can I have this if I’m planning to have a hair transplant?
This treatment can be beneficial in improving scalp circulation. People considering a transplant can do aseries of treatments in the 3–6months preceding hair transplant surgery to optimize scalp health. Is thiseffective to help care for my scalp after a hair transplant? If so, how soon after a hair transplant can I have the treatment? Due to the sensitive nature of transplanted hairs, it is not recommended to have aHydraFacial Keravive treatment until 6 months after the hair transplant.
