The Halo Glow Effect of Laser Skin Resurfacing for Facial Rejuvenation
Because everyone’s skin is different, everyone’s skincare needs are different. Fortunately, the Halo hybrid fractional laser system designed by Sciton allows your clinician to customize skincare treatment to fit the specific needs of your lifestyle and achieve results that require minimal downtime and can be performed quickly without the need for aggressive, lengthy facial rejuvenation procedures.
At Blue Halo Med Spa, we offer clients face resurfacing treatment using Halo laser therapy to address issues including uneven skin tone or discoloration, sun damage, visible signs of aging, enlarged pores, poor skin texture, noticeable scars, and fine lines. Each treatment is fully customizable to precisely target skin damage, improving the appearance of tone, texture, fine lines, and wrinkles; reducing pore size; and increasing the natural radiance and youthful appearance of skin.
Offering a range of intensities, Halo provides customization to a variety of skin colors, sensitivities, and even conditions that other skin resurfacing treatments might show little success in addressing. The Halo laser system combines the renewal of the epidermal layers of the skin with deep dermal rejuvenation to achieve results far greater than any other facial rejuvenation treatment available.

Halo Glow Most Frequently Asked Questions
What results can I expect to see?
Halo is a complete treatment for skin rejuvenation, and you’ll see noticeable improvements in the overall tone and texture of your skin as well as significant changes to areas of discoloration, reduction in fine lines, minimization of pore size, and restoration of your skin’s luminous appearance.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments you may require is based on the results you wish to achieve as well as the amount of time you’re willing to invest. More aggressive plans may take fewer treatments, while others can be done with a more mild level of intensity and spread out over a longer period of time.
What happens during a Halo laser skin resurfacing treatment?
Thirty minutes to an hour before the facial rejuvenation treatment, topical anesthetic may be applied to the skin to reduce sensitivity or discomfort during the procedure. In order to ensure even levels of treatment, motion-tracking technology will be used to measure the area during the session. By uniformly rolling the Halo hand piece over the skin, each measured area will be treated until the system recognizes completion of the treatment.
What do Halo treatments feel like?
Due to the use of a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology utilized by the Halo system, patients generally experience minimal levels of discomfort or a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations. After treatment has been completed, many patients continue to feel warm for an additional 15 to 30 minutes, while those who have undergone more intense treatments may notice a longer period of warmth.
How soon can I resume normal activities after my treatment?
For the first 24 hours following treatment, follow your clinician’s recommendations for protecting the skin. After the initial 24 hours, normal activities may be resumed, though precautionary measures for skin safety should always be taken. Treated areas of skin will begin to peel, but you may return to normal use of makeup. Very little change will be visibly noticeable on the first day, but a light bronzing appearance will develop after two to three days. Skin will peel by the third or fourth day to reveal new skin.
When will I see results?
You will see initial results between two and five days after your Halo treatment, but skin will continue to improve over time. The greatest improvements will occur in the first two to three weeks, followed by a phase of dermal regeneration that continues showing improvement for months.
How long will the results of my treatment last?
When proper skin care is maintained and protective action against sun damage is taken, the results of Halo treatments last for years. However, each additional Halo treatment builds the dramatic effects and increases the level of improvement to the condition of your skin.
How much does a Halo treatment cost?
The cost of treatment depends on the results you wish to achieve and the options you’ve discussed with your clinician.
